Mike Antony | Founder and CTO


Passionate about regenerative farming and abating climate change, Mike has over 40 years of extensive experience in Education, Agriculture, Information Technology and Chemical Engineering. In the agricultural field, he owns farms specializing in regenerative farming and sustainable Aquaponics. In Information Tech, he owns a company specializing in improving operational safety and productivity in Chemical Process Industries using Mobile Technology, IIOT, Virtual Reality, AI and Block Chain. In the field of Chemical Engineering, he owns an EPC company specializing in Hydrogen, Methanol, Ammonia, Urea and NPK Fertilizers. He holds a post graduate degree in Chemical Engineering.

Jonathan Cocker | Founder and CCO


An environmental Markets lawyer with 25 years of experience in environmentally-driven businesses, Jonathan has long been a first-mover in these markets, including: Partnered on Canada's first direct MSW to substitute natural gas project and developed similar project opportunities in Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America/Caribbean, and the United States; Appointed the International Bar Association's first Sustainability Officer Co-founded one of America's first private sector Producer Responsibility Organizations. Participating in multiple groundbreaking hydrogen hubs and green corridors in both the United States and Canada. Jonathan has long recognized that environmental markets have always been about sound business fundamentals and, with deep industry knowledge and experience within these specialized fields.

Tanvi Gupta | Director of Strategy and Policy


Tanvi is a policy specialist and former consultant who is passionate about addressing the climate crisis through regenerative agriculture. She formulated and implemented M&A strategy for clients across diverse industries and geographies, focusing on project management, business resilience and cross-functional collaborations. She has also worked on environmental impact assessment and public hearings of agricultural ventures in Quebec, worked extensively on farm assistance projects in India and studied policies to combat misinformation in the South Pacific. Tanvi holds a bachelor's degree in economics and mathematics from New York University and a master's degree in international policy from Stanford University.


Arunkumar Murugan | IT and Systems


Arun is a software engineer with a focus on improving human-factors at the workplace using digital transformation and has extensive knowledge in developing enterprise grade software systems using web, mobile, cloud and ML&AI technologies. He is passionate about green computing and green storage. His experience includes developing microfinance solutions for large scale farming communities in Africa and Latin America and streamlining the farm to plate supply chain using smartcards and mobile devices. He believes that empowering farmers and the farming process through technology and eco-friendly fertilizers can revolutionize sustainable agriculture and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. He holds a postgraduate degree in Information Systems and an MBA from Lamar University.

Nature Based NPKs

EcoGrow Naturals and our partners manufacture nature based NPK fertilizers in North America and in Asia to eliminate DAP and other chemicals based NPKs.


All our fertilizers are rock based with equivalent amount of primary nutrients. Our phosphate comes directly phosphate rock with no chemical processes and potash from naturally occurring Chilean potassium nitrates and potash tailings from mines with no chemical processing. Most of our potash comes as bio-potash from sugarcane wastes at sugar mills and from ethanol industry wastes.


We formulate grades with secondary nutrients like calcium and sulfur. Micronutrients are added through basalt rock and seaweed dry powder.

Preliminary Test Results


Research Proposal: Trials to evaluate Natural NPK (Rebuilder) products in Idaho, Wisconsin and Alberta on Alfalfa, Canola, Corn and Soybeans against MAP when applied in broadcast and in furrow

Test parameters: Yield

Treatments: Treatment by crop varying proportions of MAP, Rebuilder Broadcast and in-furrow, as a supplement and replacement

Result: Rebuilder provided a yield boost compared to MAP fertilizers in corn and outperformedMAP in canola yield

Doris Seaweed Bio Stimulants and Fertilizers

Doris Seaweed Extract Liquid: 28% solids

Doris liquid extract is derived from the extract of red and brown algae in a ratio of 70:30 , this red and brown seaweed sap naturally contains proteins, carbohydrates, inorganic salts/nutrients, vitamins, natural hormones (auxin, cytokinins, gibberellins), betaines, mannitol, etc, enhancing soil health. It is one of the most concentrated liquid seaweed extracts available in the country at 28% w/w where the total solids are derived from the sap of both cultivated and collected seaweed in a proprietary proportion


Doris Pearl (0-0-30)

Doris Pearl is a 100% water soluble seaweed extract powder derived from red seaweed. It contains 30% organic/ soluble potash (K₂O). Highly concentrated of naturally available primary and secondary nutrients such as proteins, natural hormones and vitamins. Its application boosts overall crop growth and fruit quality, relieves stress and results into better crop harvests.


Seaweed Embedded Natural NPKs

Doris Z++ and Doris Gold, our granular products, consist of carriers such as gypsum, bentonite and dolomite that are fortified with these granules to enhance plant growth through soil application. Depending on soil needs, the product can be made with a gypsum base rich in calcium and sulfur or with potash rich base. An enhanced product contains marine algae fortified with humic and fulvic acid on a carrier material. The product has naturally occurring plant growth regulators such as auxins, cytokinins and gibberellins, essential amino acids, macro & micronutrients. It also contains bio- potash (8-10%), zinc, boron along with quaternary ammonium compounds (QAC) like glycine betaine, choline etc., along with calcium, magnesium and sulfur.




Preliminary Test Results


Research Proposal: 335 trials carried in India on green gram, snake gourd, wheat, tea, grape, sugarcane, cotton + pigeon pea mixed crops to evaluate seaweed extract as a seed treatment, soil application and as a foliar spray at growth stages

Test parameters: Germination (%), shoot length, root length, Vigor index, grain yield, haul yield & harvest index

Treatments: 7 treatments varying fertilizers, seed treatment, seaweed extract spray

Result:11-36% increase in yield across crop types

•Soil application of Doris (28 %) granule @ 25 Kg / ha led to 28 % higher seed cotton yield

•Single spray of Liquid before squaring resulted into 20 % more boll formation and 25 % increase in seed cotton yield over farmers’ practice

•Despite severe seedling drought, 2x foliar application of Doris before squaring and flowering resulted into higher seed cotton yield

•Phytopathological effects: elimination of fungal crop disease (red rot) when observed against controls in snake gourd

BioKane Bio Potash 0 0 20

EcoGrow Naturals’ bio-potash, BioKane, is derived from sugarcane waste. The sugarcane waste liquor is concentrated in an energy-efficient way and dry crystals are extracted from the concentrated liquor. Our bio-potash contains a guaranteed analysis of 20% K₂O and is purely organic with a large proportion of sulphate and a smaller proportion of chlorides.


SOP also contains sulfur which is a secondary macro-nutrient utilized by the plant for growth. Sulfur deficient soils are a growing problem within the agriculture sector. Our bio-potash is also rich in nitrogen, phosphate, carbon, and a host of micro-nutrients such as zinc and manganese. We maintain a guaranteed analysis of our bio-potash and have flexibility in blending concentrated seaweed sap containing as high as 40% K₂O.
